Thoko shook her milkshake cup before sipping some more and making a very embarrassing sound with her straw.

“My friend can you stop that! Do you want to embarrass me” Enesie said angrily.

The dual were at the mall as usual for their lunch break and enjoying milkshakes at Gigibonta. Thoko was always picking the same location for lunch but Enesie was no different, given a chance she chose hungry lion.

“You know.. these cups have become smaller… I’m nolonger getting full on these milkshakes” Thoko whined.

“you have already had a sharwarma Thoko…. You know we need to start working on our weights ayi? Summer bodies are birthed in winter”

“All the best with your summer body but as for me.. summer will get whatever body I will give it”

Just as Thoko was making her point she looked at the time and realised they were running late, she shook her head and picked her bag

“I’m not in the mood of arguing with your HR manager today.. shall we vamoose”

Enesie hurried behind her friend with her unfinished milkshake in hand, they had taken Thoko's car. Settling in and fastening her seatbelt, Enesie looked at herself through the side mirror.

“Oh my word…”

“What?”

“peep outside don’t make it obvious please… turn slowly napapata don’t embarrass me Thoko” Enesie warned

Doing the exact opposite, Thoko turned swiftly and noticed a guy opening his boot, his car was right next to hers but Enesiehad a clearer view through her mirror.

“He is fine…” Thoko said lustfully.

“and wait..” Enesie posed.

“What?”

“I have seen this guy somewhere”

“Or really? Some place i might know?” Thoko asked wonderingly

“No..you never go anywhere Thoko come on”

Thoko begun reversing steadily but couldn’t get the direction right, she turned to look at her friend for help.

“What? Really? Are we doing this gain?”

“Enesie please.. just direct me”

“go on…” Enesie said looking through her mirror and focusing the most attention on the cute stranger.

“You know that scares me, just come out and direct me from outside”

“Driving licenses are so cheap these days”

“What did you say Enesie”

“Never mind”

Enesie feeling shy to look at the guy near her, she quickly got to giving Thoko directions.

“Are you sure of what you are saying Enesie”

“of course I am trust me.. good Lord where did some people get their licenses”

The stranger heard as he unpacked items from the trolley and burst out laughing.

“I’m sorry.. my name is Elisha. Looks like your friend needs some help”

Enesie smiled sheepishly but soon came to her senses.

“yes she does…”

Elisha directed Thoko until the vehicle was finally on the right lane ready to go.

“Thank you… my friend is literally blind”

“Enesie!”

“What!!”

Thoko smiled and introduced herself.

“Im sorry for the inconvenience, my name is Thoko”

Elisha did not seem to mind.

“Not to worry, it’s cool. We all started out like that. You will soon get the gist of things” he said.

Thoko was just about stepping the accelerator when Elisha suggested.

“I am actually hosting a party tomorrow, I am turning 35 maybe you could come?” he asked the ladies.

Enesie was excited but Thoko gave a doubtful eye.

“We may leave work late”

“Even better it’s starts at 8pm”

Enesie was quick to assure him they would be there.

“Alright, here’s a card”Elisha said pulling a card from his denim bottom.

“We need to rush but thank you.. we will be there” Thoko said.

“promise? I need to see you.. especially you” Elisha said to Thoko

“Sure.. I will definitely be there”

Thoko stepped on the accelerator and went real fast, they were already 10 minutes late from lunch but  also 5minutes away. Enesie was quick to grab the invitation from her.

“Woooo.. this party will be at Papa Joe’s” Enesie’ said reading the card.

“Perhaps the only reason I will go.. never been there” Thoko replied.
