CHAPTER 28

I was blown away by the breath taking views in our hotel room that I completely ignored the fact that Jeff had mentioned we needed to go shopping before we could settle in well. Jeff had mentioned that he needed to buy slippers and a few other things which he may need. I equally needed to get a few things especially lingerie. Just because I was 6month up did not mean that I could not look good for my man. I had to put some effort. This was my honey moon. Besides, I did not look terrible.. my body was still in good shape and the tummy just flattered it more.

I don’t know why but there was something about the thought of spending my night with Jeff as my husband which just tickled me. I was seriously so shy, mind you, Jeff and I had only been intimate about three times.. two of those times we were both drunk. The one time we were sober turned out to be the last time we were together officially and maybe it’s because we were both embarrassed. Well we had finally welcomed a guest or let me says guests into our sneaky behavior… I our twin babies. I was so excited, I could not wait to meet them. Because Jeff and I could not carry everything that was bought for the babies, I had a lot of fresh shopping to do in Capetown and I was so excited about that.

“Baby, we need to go… if you need to freshen up do so now.. we need to go now” Jeff said I stood by the balcony of our hotel room.

The beach was so beautiful and peaceful to look at, I really wanted to get down there but first Jeff and I needed to do some shopping.

 

“I need to buy a couple of no things before I can even think of showering” I said

“Yes me too baby, let’s hurry and get that done with.. we will come and relax when we return.. or maybe you’re tired my love? I can still get what you need” he said.

I quickly started moving.

“No honey let’s go, pick my handbag..” I said.

NARATION

The morning that followed, Jeff and Pumulo woke up exhausted. The two had a long night of being cosy and very naughty that they had struggled to get out of bed. It was 11:55am on the clock when Pumulo finally decided she needed to eat something and she dragged Jeff out of his sleep.

“Honey, what a night… wow..” Jeff said as he sat upright.

“You are not even pregnant and you are the tired one” Pumulo teased.

“Madam if not for me you would be tired…. I did all the work” he teased.

Pumulo giggled and hit him with a pillow.

“Okay let’s go shower my love.. what do you want to eat?” he asked

“I am craving q cream prwwn pasta and it better be done to perfection” she said.

“I think I have a great idea.. let’s eat out.. I know a nice seafood restaurant that you will enjoy” Jeff said as he got up.

Pumulo looked excited.

“And you honey? What  do you want to eat? She asked.

“You..” he responded with a smirk on his face.

“Ahhh honey really” Pumulo giggled before throwing two pillows at him.

“What?? Why do you want me to pretend.. you are my wife for crying out” he said in fits of laughter.

“Well no.. that is sooo not going to happen … I am tired”

“Mrs Kim, first day and you are already breaking the rules.. mwa lema chani pamene apa?”

Pumulo burst out in laughter because (Jeff’s nyanja sounded very funny”

“No honey I’m just joking.. let’s go and bath” he said.

Pumulo retreated.

“No honey.. if you want then ..”

“Come on baby I was just joking” He insisted.

“awe napapata.. you were not joking… ku Capetown naku shupa kuli naba Jacinta abama attitude”

Jeff burst out laughing.

“Baby are you serious right now? Do you think Jacinta has an attitude?”

“Do I think?... Honey it’s so clear even aunty noticed”

“Well maybe I need to I talk to her then” he said.

“Honey I’m not trying to…”

Jeff quickly interrupted Pumulo “my love, she is your maid… she needs to respect you.. besides those ladies can be changed any time.. they were just there to help. You are the woman of the house now so you decide what goes on there.
