Thandi was ready to head downstairs for breakfast when she tried to shake her cousin one last time but Enesie was knocked out. There was still enough time to wait before heading out to breakfast but Thandi had to enjoy the hotel as she had spent way too much money. Although check out was 10hrs, she contemplated another night but that was only if Enesie agreed that they stay longer or she was proceeding with her plans of leaving Milan. 

“ok .. its 7:15 now and i am going without you” Thandi said.

Enesie nodded her head and covered herself again. 

The hotel was so cosy and was worth every cent that she spent, Thandi wished from the bottom of her heart that a man could one day do this for her. She was tired of doing all these fancy things for herself. As she walked in the corridor headed to the elevator, she admired the art pieces and the lovely decor of the hotel. Enesie was wondering what type of people could afford such luxury any given time. Ahead of her was a gentleman coming toward the directions he was leaving, he was in a gym outfit and it looked like he had just finished an intense work out session. The man was so focussed on his phone that he almost bumped into her. 

“i am so sorry... uhmmm.. Thandi??” Elisha said with a smile

“i could not have recognised you with the cap but hey... what are you doing here?” she asked joyfully

Thandi thought he was a fun guy from the previous night as he often cracked jokes and had her and Enesie in fits of laughter, probably why June was mad.

“Enesie told me you are here... i am lodged here and just from the gym you know... where is she?” he asked.

“Knocked out” Thandi giggled.

“Oh my bad... she must have taken a lot... we met at the bar and well she left without saying bye... I looked for her...”

“Oh ya... she was knocked but I am sure she will be up soon... tell her i have her purse she forgot it... the bartender gave it to me.. I hope you guys are not checking out soon...” he said

Thandi dragged

“We might... Honestly it’s so pricy here but we love it... We might look for a cheaper place though...” she said

“Ah I see... but anyway... before you go... let her know I have her purse.. Is that okay?”

“Sure no problem I will...”

“Enjoy your breakfast”

“Thank you...”

June was awake and pacing round the house wondering where Thandi and Enesie could be. Although a deeper part of her knew she was wrong, she could not bring herself to be okay with how Elisha evidently felt about Enesie from the very first look he gave her when they met in Junes house. It was without a doubt that Enesie was innocent and so lost with reality that she probably didn’t even know that Elisha had eyes for her, June was old enough or observant enough to know as she herself had a strong liking for Enesie. She was lovable. The thought of losing her only prospect so close felt so bad that she could not stomach it. It ate her up so badly. Elisha had not come out openly about it but his behaviour at the previous dinner was the last stroke. She was sure without a doubt that he felt a connection for her and she had never felt so humiliated. Her only hope now was that Elisha would respect his friendship with her or the fact that he once liked her friend and stay away from Enesie.
