Thandi could not believe her eyes when she got to the hotel restaurant, there was a whole bay of food to choose from and she couldn’t believe it. There was so much food that she even opted to carry some with her. Meanwhile, she used this time to make a short video for her YouTube channel which she had slowly started trying to boost. She was never consistent but believed she was meant to be a content creator.

*VIDEO CALL- JEREMY & ELISHA*

“Do you know what you sound like right now?” 

“No... Tell me” Elisha said as he pulled his t-shirt down.

He finally settled down to look at his friend Jeremy who he had been having a video call with since he took his shower.

“look man, i know you have the money but what I have always said about these random decisions?... so one conversation with a  girl who by the way is friends with two girls that you once liked or like and now you feel some crazy connection that you want to extend her stay at the hotel? Why am I your friend? I cannot be telling you the same thing all the dumb time.. you make these insane decisions.... do you once think about your daughter?”

“wo... hold it right there... and Emily comes into this how?” 

“She needs a mother... stop crushing on these young girls and get a mature woman.. one with a kid herself or better still one who has delayed to get married and start a family... stop with this nonsense... you want to spend over K5,000 to pay for a room for a girl who is not even a girlfriend because of connection.. Man can you even listen to yourself?”

“If you and I spend that much on beers sometimes, why won’t i spend it on a lady? I want to know... look here... I didn’t say i am paying for her entire vacation... just two nights that’s all...”

“Two nights??? Now it’s two?? And remind me again.. How are you going to break this news to her?”

“i will not... i will ... oh damn .. i don’t even have their numbers... i can go to the reception...”

“Elisha man no.... focus... June is who you could probably do this for,... she is the one you have been doing dates with”

“Well you know I don’t like her like that and i think i am moving on period. Remember, June just happened; i was not planning it that way. I did not even lead her on... yes she is very beautiful but i just don’t feel the connection. I made it clear to her that we can just be friends... she knows it and we were together last night she seemed really cool. Besides, June herself doesn’t seem like somebody that is phased by a man like me...”

Jeremy sighed heavily as he leaned on his forehead.

“Elisha come back home.. i am not sure Milan is doing you any good”

“wish me luck” he chuckled.

“Alright good luck but i highly doubt this will go well” Jeremy opposed

“oh well, you never know...” Elisha responded 

“i can’t believe you are going through with his man...”

“i have failed at these things for way too long i think the fact that i am still trying is a plus you owe me that one...”

“Well you are right... i give you that one”
